e-Business Applet is a complete e-commerce solution in one java applet.
e-Business Applet gives users a quick overview of thousands of products in
one html page. The applet loads a text data file and displays the content
in
a grid. Users can easily browse, search and select the items they want to
purchase. e-Business Applet calculates a total price and sends the order by
email. By default the applet uses one of several free form mail CGI scripts
available on the net..
If you need more advanced order handling you can configure the applet to
post orders to your own CGI script even by the secure SSL protocol. The
applet encrypts credit card numbers with a strong encryption routine before
posting the orders. You decrypt credit card numbers received with your
incoming orders with a Crypto applet included in the package.
Notes:
Upload the applet as stated in the documentation and set it up on your final
webhost. Run it from the server and get the Codebase URL from the note at
the bottom of the 'unregistered version' popup window.
Write down the base URL and insert it in the keygen: be careful, it's usua
lly
something like "

don't bug me telling me that my keygen does not work when the real problem
is that you provide an invalid Codebase URL...
Ok, now that you got the correct URL, insert it in the keygen and get the
regcode; now, edit the eapplet.properties file in the .\config dir and
look for the line LICENSE_KEY in the 'General properties' section and
edit
it as follows:
LICENSE_KEY : (the license key you got from the keygen)

This keygen needs the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine to run properly; the
MSVM is installed by default on win98/win2000 systems, and the
runtime
version is freely downloadable on main MS site, at
